I should point out that the easels are only used indoors for pen/pencil/crayon use. For paint they get carried outside, or in extreme circumstances (such as a tornado hitting Manchester just as we’re held at gunpoint until we paint) they are used in the dining room, on a big sheet of plastic, and the aprons are deployed.

Also, we switched from carpet to that wipe-clean laminate flooring a while back. Bet we don’t seem quite so brave now, do we?

I’m just in the midst of setting up a new blog about my girls and other stuff to do with twins and would love any comments, I’m sorry I can’t answer the questions, I’ve been a bit overawed by the fact the easels are in the dining room - we put ours outside so the paint goes all over paving slabs as opposed to carpet..which is already covered in every type of crumb known to man.
