Let the trumpets sound, for I have written a Greasemonkey script.
If you don’t know what Greasemonkey is, you should probably stop reading here before you think less of me. A team at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has prototyped a $100 Laptop. The laptop takes a number of routes to reduce the laptop’s costs, including replacing the hard disk with iPod-style flash memory, a smaller screen, and best of all, a big yellow crank handle reminiscent of Trevor Baylis’s clockwork radio.
The aim is to provide every child with a laptop by 2015.
