I’ve got a love/hate relationship with the British tabloid press: the papers are complete piss, but at times even I have to admire their headlines…

I went to see Shrek 2 at the weekend, and was struck by the transformed Shrek’s resemblance to Gordon Brown. After searching high and low for a picture of Shrek in human form to blog (try it yourself – they’re like hen’s teeth!), I discovered that not only did the Mirror have the whole look-alike story itself, they also had the killer headline to go with it.

(My favourite tabloid headline to date was a story in the Sun about a set of commemorative Rolling Stones stamps, entitled: “It’s Only Rock’n'Roll… But I Lick It!”)
